Community Health & Nutrition

The Foundation aims to strengthen the Primary Health Care system in Calatagan, Batangas. This includes programs that:

 

  1. Encourage the community members to develop a habit of taking personal responsibility for their health by having regular check-ups in the barangay center.

  2. Strengthen health education at the household level and bring programs of the MHO and DOH to the community.

  3. Serve as a gatekeeper to which a patient is directed towards higher health care, whether secondary or tertiary.

Participants were able to plant at least 500 propagules.

SUPPLEMENT MILK FEEDING PROGRAM

In order to mitigate the effect of the prolonged COVID-19 quarantine on the nutrition of the school children, the Foundation rallied to support the feeding program during the second and fourth quarter of 2020.
