SUPPLEMENT MILK FEEDING PROGRAM

In order to mitigate the effect of the prolonged COVID-19 quarantine on the nutrition of the school children, the Foundation rallied to support the feeding program during the second and fourth quarter of 2020. The Foundation assisted three communities in Calatagan with their supplementary milk feeding. A total of one hundred and forty three undernourished schoolchildren were given milk supplies for four months sponsored by Rotary Club of Makati through the efforts of Kabisig ng Kalahi Inc.

The Foundation made an extra effort in delivering directly to the home of the children beneficiaries in the coastal barangays of Kilitisan and Balibago with the help of barangay nutrition scholars. In the case of Barangay Sambungan, a simple turnover ceremony happened in the school of which the President of the Rotary Club of Makati attended the activity.
