Community Health & Nutrition

The Foundation aims to strengthen the Primary Health Care system in Calatagan, Batangas. This includes programs that:

 

  1. Encourage the community members to develop a habit of taking personal responsibility for their health by having regular check-ups in the barangay center.

  2. Strengthen health education at the household level and bring programs of the MHO and DOH to the community.

  3. Serve as a gatekeeper to which a patient is directed towards higher health care, whether secondary or tertiary.
     

FOOD SHARE PROGRAM

The Rotary Club of Makati, through Kabisig ng Kalahi, Inc., in collaboration with the E. Zobel Foundation, DSWD IV-A, MSWDO, and LGU Calatagan, sponsored 30 families in Barangay Bagong Silang for the Food Share Program.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION

Assorted plastic bottles, candy wrappers, rubber slippers, diapers, straws, and other materials were collected, removed, and recycled by a team of EZF volunteers.

GYNE MISSION

The Foundation in partnership with Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Manila and Phi Lambda Delta Sorority organizes Gynecological Mission Events at ENZOTech where women are screened for cervical cancer and undergo breast and internal examinations performed by staff of the Rural Health Unit of Calatagan.
