SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT: "GANDANG BUNTIS NA CALATAGUEÑA, MALUSOG, LIGTAS, AT PROTEKTADO"

Last August 29, 2023, a blast of gorgeous and proud pregnant women candidates showed their prowess and confidence in the first-ever Buntis Pageant held at Gulod Calatagan Batangas with the theme Gandang Buntis Calatagenya, Malusog, Ligtas at Protektado. The aim of this initiative is to disseminate vital information, raise awareness and remind the pregnant women of Calatagan for a healthy, safe and protected pregnancy. Headed by our Municipal Health Officer Dr. Robert John D. Turno and their invited health workforce they were able to share their knowledge and expertise about the importance of newborn screening and what to do before during and after pregnancy with all the pregnant women who attended the congress. Medical services such as urinalysis, blood typing, hemoglobin count and OB Consultation were also part of the said activity. This cannot be possible without the unfathomable support and assistance from MHO Calatagan, LGU Calatagan, Batangas Provincial Health Office, Batangas Medical Center and other donor and sponsors.
