EZ 20TH DEATH ANNIVERSARY: Palarong EZ
As part of commemorating the life and legacy of EZFI founder, the late Don Enrique Zobel, the Foundation also held the "Palarong EZ" last May 18, 2024, Saturday, at the Hacienda Bigaa farm lot.
The program invited student athletes from the 21 public elementary schools in Calatagan, Batangas to participate in Filipino Games such as Luksong Lubid, Kadang Kadang Race, Sack Race, and the classic Tumbang Preso. The winners in each game are:
- Luksong Lubid Boys Category: Jose M. Caisip Elementary School, Santiago Zobel Elementary School, and Tanagan Elementary School (triple tie)
- Luksong Lubid Girls Category: Pacita Madrigal Warns Mababang Paaralan ng Bagong Silang
- Kadang Kadang Race: Pacita Madrigal Warns Mababang Paaralan ng Bagong Silang
- Sack Race: Pacita Madrigal Warns Mababang Paaralan ng Bagong Silang
- Tumbang Preso Boys Category: Jose M. Caisip Elem. School
- Tumbang Preso Girls Category: Carretonan Elem. School
Pacita Madrigal Warns Mababang Paaralan ng Bagong Silang hailed as the overall victorious of the Palaro.
Truly, the student athletes have shown exceptional sportsmanship and teamwork!
The Foundation would like to thank its partners, as well as the parents, faculties, DepEd Office Calatagan, volunteers, and most especially, the student athletes for making all these possible and a successful one!
