Museo Enrique Zobel Educational Tour
From February 2 to 6, 2026, the Museo Enrique Zobel was filled with laughter, excitement, and youthful curiosity as daycare pupils from various barangays of Calatagan, Batangas took part in the five-day educational tour, “Lakbay Bulilit.” Accompanied by their dedicated teachers and supportive parents, the young learners were warmly welcomed by the E. Zobel Foundation, Inc., whose continuous initiatives reflect its strong commitment to education, cultural enrichment, and community engagement.
One of the most meaningful highlights of the tour was the gallery showcasing old photographs and treasured memorabilia of Enrique Zobel. Through these exhibits, children, teachers, and parents gained valuable insights into his life, vision, and lasting contributions to the municipality. The stories shared during the visit beautifully connected the past to the present, making local history engaging and relatable—even for the youngest participants.
Throughout the activity, the pupils displayed remarkable enthusiasm and curiosity. They eagerly asked questions and carefully observed the exhibitsThe involvement of parents further enhanced the experience, turning the tour into a meaningful shared learning opportunity for families and educators alike.
More than just an educational trip, Lakbay Bulilit became an inspiring introduction to cultural appreciation and local pride. By nurturing awareness of their heritage at an early age, the initiative strengthened the children’s sense of identity and belonging—demonstrating that meaningful learning experiences can begin in the earliest stages of childhood.
