This facility will serve as a foundation for students to enhance their skills, broaden their knowledge, and prepare for a brighter future. It represents the collaboration of individuals and organizations who believe in the power of education to transform lives.
Ms. Mercedes Zobel, EZFI Chairwoman, expressed her hopes for the school, stating that it is our hope that this school becomes a venue for other sectors of society to be able to come together to produce lasting impact in people’s lives.
Dr. Rommel Penaranda, the School Principal, emphasized that the new classroom building is not just made of cement and steel—iIt is a home for learning, a place for growth, and a foundation for success.
The program also highlighted stories from the School’s current students and alumni. Joella Silang, graduating HUMSS student shared her personal experience studying at EnzoTech. “I am truly grateful for all the opportunities and support I have received. Education has opened many doors for me, and with hard work, I can continue to grow, learn, and eventually help others in the way I have always dreamed”, she said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Felipe Ramirez, TESDA Electrical Installation and Maintenance 2018 Graduate of EnzoTech, shared his heartfelt testimony:
Lastly, Mr. Ronaldo Godoy, President of the School faculty, reflected on his experience as an educator. According to him, seeing our students succeed is immeasurable. There is no greater joy than witnessing a struggling student overcome obstacles, regain confidence, and achieve their dreams. Their victories are our victories, and their success stories fuel our passion to keep going, no matter how tough the road ahead may be.
The E. Zobel Foundation, Inc., broke ground for the construction of a three-storey building on August 10, 2023. The construction was made possible through the support of our esteemed Board Members and the close monitoring of the Foundation’s corporate officers. We are grateful for the support and donations coming from various sectors.
The late Tom Layng whose funds partly enabled us to build this structure as his continuing commitment to the education of children in the Municipality;
San Miguel Foundation, Inc. whose donations allowed us to purchase the various movables and furnishings of this new building;
Board Member Ava Zobel-Pessina who sponsored the interiors of one classroom; and
Kabisig ng lahi, headed by Board Member Vicky Wieneke, for various internal purchases.
The completion of this building is a testament to the need for various sectors of society to come together in order to effect lasting change for the betterment of society.
We celebrate not only the completion of the vision of the Board of E. Zobel Foundation, Inc., but more importantly of our community together for the advancement of Calatagan.
