EZF and EATON Honor EIM NC II Graduates, Empowering Calatagan Through Skills Development

CALATAGAN, BATANGAS — On August 7, 2026, the E. Zobel Foundation, Inc. (EZF), through the Enrique Zobel Technical Center (ENZO TECH), formally recognized 25 graduates of the Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II program during a ceremony at the ENZO TECH Compound in Brgy. Gulod, Calatagan, Batangas.

Under EZF’s Skills Training to Career Acceleration initiative, the trainees completed 196 hours (24.5 days) of intensive technical-vocational instruction and hands-on assessments. The program equips participants with industry-standard competencies in electrical installation, cabling, and safety systems, opening direct pathways to employment and self-employment.

Made possible through the generous sponsorship of Eaton Corporation plc, the program offered fully funded, accessible training targeting local youth and underemployed community members.

During the ceremony, graduates received official certificates of completion alongside professional starter toolkits designed to help them immediately launch their careers or start independent service livelihoods.

Highlighting the transformative impact of the program, class representative Mr. Christopher Consul shared an inspiring message on behalf of his peers:

“Hindi sukatan ang edad, hindi hadlang ang hirap, at lalong hindi hadlang ang takot para matuto."
(Age is not a measure, hardship is not an obstacle, and fear should never stop us from learning.)

This ceremony for the 24th batch of EIM NC II graduates underscores the shared commitment of EZF and Eaton to uplifting rural communities through technical excellence, sustainable livelihoods, and lifelong learning.
