CAREER AWARENESS AND READINESS (CARE) PROGRAM
The Foundation in partnership with EdukasyonPh and the Department of Education successfully run a career counselling program to equip junior and senior high school students to make an informed decision in choosing their career. Seeing the impact of the career program, the Foundation expanded its coverage to twenty-seven (27) partner schools coming from the eight municipalities (Balayan, Lian, Tuy, Calaca, Lemery, Taal, Nasugbu & Calatagan) of the Province of Batangas. The CARE Program directly reached a total of three thousand two hundred and seventy-eight (3,278) junior high school students and three hundred and ninety three (393) high school teachers.
Based on the program protocol, after the approval of the school principal, teachers undergo career guidance and counseling workshops and given necessary materials & instructional modules to facilitate the CARE Session in their respective classes. The Foundation has conducted follow up training sessions and school monitoring visitations to listen to the feedback and address findings from students’ career planning experiences.
To support the career planning activities of the students in Calatagan, the Foundation organized an Education and Career Boot Camp for Grade 12 students coming from the different schools in the area.
The event aimed to provide students with first-hand information on the wide variety of course disciplines, college admission requirements, fellowship opportunities, scholarship programs and have dialogue with representatives from various universities and colleges.
For students who plan to work after Senior High School, opportunities to meet potential employers were provided by the Foundation with partner company staff on-hand to discuss routes to employment.

If teachers enable to adapt the learning they may share to the student during the program, students can really understand what they are planning to do with their career.
