On March 21, 2025, the Rotary Club of Makati (RCM), in partnership with Kabisig ng Kalahi, E. Zobel Foundation, and the Department of Education, successfully concluded the Complementary Nutrition Program (CNP) Culmination and Last Angel Gift Giving Project at Angelita Zobel Elementary School (AZES). This initiative was designed to provide nutritional support and bring joy to young learners through acts of generosity. The culmination event marked the successful implementation of the program and reinforced the commitment of RCM and its partners to improving children's well-being. The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including Ms. Victoria Weineke, President of Kabisig ng Kalahi; Mr. Adelio Glorioso, Principal of Balibago Elementary School (BES); Ms. Reynalyn S. Mendoza, Principal of Angelita Zobel Elementary School (AZES); Mr. Keith Harrison, President of the Rotary Club of Makati; Mr. Freddie Borromeo, Past President and Chairman, Committee on Family, Health, and Nutrition Program of RCM; and Mr. Bing Matoto, Immediate Past President and Last Angel Chairman of RCM; and Mr. Paulino Buenconsejo, Executive Director with his staff. Their presence underscored the strong collaboration between various organizations and institutions working towards the betterment of children's education and nutrition.

The Complementary Nutrition Program benefited a total of 154 children, with 94 school children from Angelita Zobel Elementary School (AZES) and 60 school children from Balibago Elementary School (BES) receiving milk rations as part of their nutritional support. The program commenced on December 10, 2024, for BES and December 14, 2024, for AZES, ensuring that the children received proper nourishment for several months. However, due to transportation challenges, only the beneficiaries from AZES were able to attend the culminating event. Despite this, RCM ensured that both schools received the necessary support, further solidifying their commitment to serving children in need. During the Last Angel Gift Giving Project, children were delighted to receive stuffed toys, slippers, board games, and coloring books. In addition to gifts for the children, the schools also received essential supplies, including book donations to enrich the students' learning experience and Lysol disinfectants to promote a clean and healthy school environment.

The event concluded with heartfelt messages of gratitude from school principals Mr. Adelio Glorioso of BES and Ms. Reynalyn S. Mendoza of AZES, who both acknowledged the unwavering support of RCM in enhancing the quality of education and health for their students. In his closing remarks, Mr. Bing Matoto, Immediate Past President and Last Angel Chairman, emphasized the Rotary Club of Makati’s mission to continue supporting children’s holistic development through sustainable programs focused on education, nutrition, and well-being. The CNP Culmination and Last Angel Gift Giving Project demonstrated the profound impact of collaborative efforts in improving the lives of young learners. The Rotary Club of Makati, together with its partners, remains dedicated to fostering a culture of generosity and service, ensuring that every child, regardless of their circumstances, is given the opportunity to thrive. Through initiatives like these, the values of compassion, commitment, and service continue to make a lasting difference in communities, inspiring hope for a brighter future.
