CNP Culmination and Last Angel Gift-Giving Program

On February 27, 2026, the E. Zobel Foundation, Inc. (EZF) successfully conducted the Complementary Nutrition Program's (CNP) Culmination and Last Angel Gift-Giving Program of Rotary Club of Makati held at Pedro Palacio Sr. Memorial Elementary School in Barangay Sta. Ana, Calatagan, Batangas. The activity was attended by fifty-seven (57) school children spanning from various public elementary schools such as Tanagan Elementary School (15 schoolchildren), Pacita Madrigal Warns Mababang Paaralan ng Bagong Silang (15 school children), and Pedro Palacio Sr. Memorial Medical Center (27 school children), together with their School Principals and the School Feeding Coordinator.

The event was made possible through the generous support of the Rotary Club of Makati and was implemented in partnership with Kabisig ng Kalahi, Inc. Guests from the Rotary Club of Calatagan were also present to show their support and solidarity for the program.

The program formally opened with a warm Welcome Address from the host School Head, expressing gratitude to the sponsors and partners for their continued commitment to improving the health and well-being of the children. This was followed by inspirational messages from the distinguished guests, highlighting the importance of nutrition, education, and strong community partnerships in shaping a better future for the learners.

A significant highlight of the event was the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing, symbolizing the strengthened partnership and shared commitment among the organizations in sustaining programs that benefit the children and the school community. Reports were also presented regarding the implementation and impact of the program, particularly focusing on the improvements observed in the beneficiaries’ nutritional status and academic performance. The reports emphasized how proper nutrition contributed to better school attendance, increased participation in class, and improved learning outcomes. As a result, a significant number of the children showed weight gain within the normal range for their age, demonstrated more active engagement during classroom activities, and exhibited noticeable progress in their academic performance. Teachers also reported improved concentration, enhanced confidence, and a more positive attitude toward learning among the beneficiaries.

The Executive Director of EZF also delivered an inspiring message to the children, encouraging them to value their education, maintain healthy habits, and strive to achieve their dreams.

The activity concluded with the distribution of gifts to the children, bringing joy and excitement to the beneficiaries. This was followed by the ceremonial serving of nutritious snacks prepared by the sponsors, reinforcing the program’s advocacy of promoting proper nutrition among learners.

Overall, the CNP Culmination and Last Angel Gift-Giving Program was a meaningful and successful activity that celebrated partnership, generosity, and the shared mission of supporting children’s health and education.
